9 x 13 sapele sculpture. Dave Carlson’s sculptural wood is made of Sapele which is native to tropical Africa. The wood is constructed by making bowls that are then cut into sections, carefully put together to achieve the ‘loop’ or ‘ribbon’ shape, glued, sanded and polished. This beautiful and unusual conversation starter is 9 tall x 13 wide and can be placed and viewed several different ways.
