One favorite subject for Dorothy Freudenberg has been trees. She can create a forest without even using an actual tree. This lovely piece incorporates bamboo shot at the Chinese Garden in Portland along with writing from a scarf hovering through the background. a quiet contemplative piece that can be printed on either paper or metal. Recently a client ordered one on metal and brilliantly framed it with red and a shiny black bamboo frame. Stunning!
