Elevator To The Sky — Dorothy Freudenberg
20 x 16 digital media on metal, ready to hang. This is another interesting composition by Dorothy Freudenberg which is part of her phoneography exploration. The lower part is from the elevator in the Portland Art Museum. Later it was combined with part of another image to construct this intriguing piece. The work is a metaphor for our upward expansion, where there are no limits–no end floor to stop us. It is floated on a brushed aluminum backing for a clean, contemporary look.
