The Creative Process in Action
As a challenging exercise Tumalo artists decided to work from three Bruce Jackson photographs for their exhibit —“Inspiring Interpretation: Tumalo Artists Create from Bruce Jackson’s Images of Nature”, opening May 6 from 5-9pm, during the First Friday Gallery Walk.

Jackson’s “Desert Rhythm”, “Where Cranes Speak Freely” and “Twilight Fire” were chosen by the artists to use as inspiration for their pieces. All three fine art photographs will be displayed along with the works in other media including oil, watercolor, acrylic, soft pastel, encaustic and glass. Artists have used the images as a jumping off point with intriguing results.
