TAC Artists in Annual Juried Exhibits

Helen Brown and Judy Hoiness were juried into the 2023 Watercolor Society of Oregon’s Fall Transparent Watercolor show opening October 7, at Elsinore Gallery in Salem, Oregon. Juror Trish McKinley, selected 80 works from 236 paintings submitted by 140 Oregon artists. Janice Druian, Danae Bennett-Miller, Katherine Taylor and Shelli Walters were invited and juried into the Favell Museum 11th Annual Art Show and Sale opening September 16, and running through November 4, 2023. An annual exhibition featuring original, contemporary, representational art, it features 33 artists from across the West, including landscape, plein-air, western, figure, still life, wildlife, historical art, and more, in a variety of artistic styles and mediums including oil, pastel, watercolor, acrylic, mixed media, bronze, and wood.

The High Desert Museum’s Art in the West Exhibit opened July 8, and is up through September 22. This prestigious invitational exhibit, with distinguished jurors, includes art from all over the nation in many genres. Helen Brown, Janice Druian, Anne Gibson, Sarah B. Hansen, Susan Luckey Higdon(shown below), Mollie Jurgenson and Adell Shetterly, have all been accepted into the show. The art may be purchased in an online auction for the duration of the show culminating in an evening of in-person bidding.
