Timeworn by Adell Shetterly

Adell Shetterly, who has already been interviewed by American Art Collectormagazine about her process, describes her monoprint Timeworn (above) this way—”Here, there’s a sense of timeless solitude, a place where the past whispers on the wind, a reminder of the power of nature and the echoes left behind on the trails of time. Carved into the earth are faint outlines of ancient paths etched with the work of wind and weather, travelers long gone, whispering stories of lives lived and journeys traveled. Above, the three moons hang like a celestial time-lapse, a testament to the journeys that have unfolded beneath their gazes. “
