Join Shelli Walters for this fun 2-day workshop and discover the power play has to spark your creativity and confidence. Mixing acrylic, oil pastel, pencil and crayon, Shelli will guide you through her process to create a cohesive series of small expressive paintings of your choice. Working small fosters a highly approachable and enriching learning experience. With a focus on design, playfulness and experimentation, you will learn how to get started, keep moving and trust your instincts — helping you develop your own artistic voice while celebrating the joy and freedom of practice.

Sarah B. Hansen will be teaching an in-person workshop, Acrylic Landscapes, 3 Days, 2 Ways, at the Oregon Society of Artists, October 2-4, 2026. Immerse yourself in a three-day workshop in Portland, Oregon, where Sarah will be teaching expressive acrylic landscape painting. You will create two paintings, from one photo reference, in three days, by altering composition, values, colors, and edgework.
Danica Thomas is offering private, one-on-one lessons to learn her lamp-working technique of making glass beads. She will customize a class based on your individual needs, experience, and interests. Danica has traveled to the island of Murano in Italy, where the world-renowned Murano glass that she uses is made, to learn from the masters.
