Printmaker Adell Shetterly shares her process in making her one-of-a-kind cards—from a taped up grid to tiny horizons. First Adell measures, then she creates the grids on her plate with tape. The ink is applied to the plate and then printed on her press. When she pulls the tape off, trims the paper, and adheres each tiny artwork to cardstock—voila—greeting cards!
Adell is one of several artists in the gallery who make cards with original artwork. These make wonderful, very affordable unique gifts which can also be framed.
