"One of the most ubiquitous sights of late summer in Central Oregon are the deliciously yellow-golden Black-eyed Susan's. As the colors turn more to yellows, and the sunflowers are bending their heavy heads, the little dark cones of these delightful flowers keep summer lingering well into August. I often photograph them at this time of year as a take my early morning walks along the river trails along the Old Mill District.
