Baby Blue — Katherine Taylor
Out of stock
16 x 20 oil on panel, “Baby Blue” comes in an attractive green-grey frame that goes perfectly with the colors in this painting.
This great blue heron is not really a baby chick but a juvenile (fun fact: baby chick sightings are actually rare because they not only stay in the nest so long after hatching, but parents keep their nests very well-hidden). Great blue herons are the largest of all heron species, with adults standing a little over 5 ft tall, so juvenile herons can look very leggy even at their young age.
