An Exciting Juried Show

Upper Falls by acrylic artist Anne Gibson was juried into the inaugural PRAx Open exhibition at the Kate and John Stirek Gallery in the Patricia Valian Reser Center for the Creative Arts (PRAx), at OSU/Corvallis. The gallery received almost 350 submissions, or over 700 individual artworks. (The open call anticipated including the works of 25-40 artist.) For this particular exhibition a balance across regions of Oregon, artistic styles, and additional factors drove much of the jury process. The chosen works will be a stunning showcase that gives insight into the lives and landscapes of Oregonians and members of Tribal nations of the state. The exhibition opens with a reception on November 19, and will remain on view through December 19, 2026.
