The background evolved from paint splotches on rusty metal and the horse figures are constructed from paint splotches or lichen patches on rocks. Yet when viewing the completed results, one would never suspect the source material. That is where artistic creativity comes in. This piece is mounted on a black mat with a lovely rustic brown and gold textured frame. With a name like Dorothy, it's no surprise that Over the Rainbow would show up to express the joyful delight pictured.
