33 x 24” framed, 27 x 18” image printed on metal, and floated on a light brown matt with a dark wooden frame complimenting the trees
Dorothy Freudenberg was hiking in Shevlin Park at Thanksgiving and with the special grace of this time of year, the colors were still abundant, and the larch had dropped their needles, creating a soft golden path that wound down and up again through the towering pines. Being a metaphorical artist, she uses this image to reflect on how each of us is on a path at differing points in our lives, and what's important is that we recognize and honor our own path, wherever it may lead. This one contains both a somberness and mystery, but also a beckoning.
