The process of painting with oils will be demonstrate a with a simple step-by-step process to create dynamic and powerful oil paintings. This will be an immersive weekend, covering the essentials that will include composition, color mixing, shape simplification, value structure, handling of edges and mark-making. Join David January 13, 12-1, at Sagebrushers Art Society for Lunch and Learn. Plein air painting on river trips is David’s happy place and teaching painting is also one of his greatest joys. Having just returned from six weeks of travel in Chile and Argentina, David will have numerous small painting to share. He will also share his interpretation of aesthetics in painting, largely influenced by color.
