Three friends/artists, Sarah B. Hansen, Susan Luckey Higdon & Tracy Leagjeld have an annual date to camp for a few days and plein air paint in the mountains every autumn. “Connections” describes how their love of place, painting and exploring together has created a meaningful bound and deepened their experience of a specific landscape through art.
Opening April 3, each artist will exhibit some of the plein air paintings made onsite and studio art made from images of the same areas that impacted them during their time camping.
