Danica Curtright‘s glass beads are individually crafted using a centuries old process called “lampworking”. Rods of “Moretti” Italian glass are melting by a special torch and the molten glass is then wound around a steel rod, creating unique and one-of-a-kind beads. Some beads are embellished with silver foil or “fine” silver, while others are etched. All beads are annealed in a kiln for strength and durability. Danica is a local artist and can easily alter bracelets and necklaces to fit individual customer needs. Special orders are always welcome!
