Dee McBrien-Lee‘s Bluebird Day is featured on the cover of the March issue of Cascade Arts & Entertainment with an article about her artwork inside. Dee’s figurative mixed media paintings are imbued with color, texture and design, and the personalities of her abstracted figures shine through. Helen Brown‘s and Judy Hoiness‘ paintings were among the 80 works selected by juror, Stan Kurth, to be included in the Watercolor Society of Oregon’s 2026 Spring Experimental Exhibition. Kurth selected from 231 paintings submitted by 133 artists.
The exhibit will be on display at the Linfield University Library (900 SE Baker St., McMinnville, OR, 97128) from April 9 to May 10.
