“Young Squawk 1 and 2” are part of Taylor’s “Painting the Invisible” featured show, displaying art that interprets the emotions and movements underlying her subjects, whether they be animal, human figure, a landscape or even a bowl of fruit. All of these subjects exude an essence that is sometimes elusive, especially to capture in paint. But that is Taylor’s challenge with this feature show.

When these particular young ravens squawk, they create vibrations of color and movement all around them that you can almost feel, if not see.
