Description

This digital media piece printed on metal, evokes both the high desert landscape, both in Central Oregon, as well as other desert areas. At the same time, we have altered that landscape with our own additions, and now we have the influence of deciduous trees and their beautiful annual colors and shade. To live in a desert is a dream for many, including these kinds of trees, which need our help to keep their place in what is for them a foreign environment. The parts of this creation were inspired by walks along the River near Farewell Bend Park. This piece is 11 x 14" in. and it is floated on a black mat and framed in a complimentary brown color. The framed size is 16 x 20".
