10 x 8 oil on panel. “Tree Art II had its start in a plein aire event at a friend’s Crooked River Ranch property. Janice is a good friend (and excellent painter herself); the day our group gathered at her beautiful residence, I was quite taken with the old twisted junipers throughout the location. I started painting this (and Tree Art I) as a plein aire and finished it back in the studio.”
