This delicate and tender little piece is a study in Zen simplicity. I was taken during a winter snowstorm when I was out shooting, as fresh snow as a great subject. I had pulled into a mall parking lot when I encountered this branch, still dangling its fall leaves, and the bird has chosen this as a resting spot. It stayed still for several shots, so that I was able to pick this specific one that captures a respite on a snowy day. This little piece required no elaborate treatment. It stands on its own.
