Iconography of Dogma — Dorothy Freudenberg
$250.00
Description
13 x 17 digital media on paper, ready to frame. This piece is particularly relevant in our current times as we see people grab for words, memes, and symbols and use them to establish their particular dogma, be it political, religious, or other. These do not represent in-depth knowledge of the serious issues and climate that we exist in. This was inspired by graffiti elements photographed and then layered. The blue arrow references to the pointing finger or…whatever suggests that we travel in a specific direction. This is how we lose our freedom. Our ability to think for ourselves in any given situation. This piece is also available as a metal print, please inquire for pricing.
