We sat and watched this heron bathe leisurely, seemingly oblivious to the torrent of white water rushing by inches away. A couple days later she was seen again staring intently at the quiet pool formed by the water flowing from the cliffs. Fishing perhaps? Varying tones and hues juxtapose the deep shade and bright sunshine in this scene.
