Since my childhood exploring east coast shores, wetlands, whether tidal, riverside, or lakeside, have a familiarity and beauty that always makes me feel at home, wherever I find them. Watching the light change, the waterfowl swim, rise, and circle, and inhaling the rich, sometimes pungent air, all bring peace.
