Alcea Rosea, Black Hollyhocks is a 14 1/2” x 10” watercolor painting framed in a traditional molding that is black on the sides, has a burnished champagne gold beaded outer edge with curved dark brown wood up to the art. Finished size is 17.25 x 12.25" and it is ready to hang.

Hollyhocks are a favorite subject for me and this almost black hollyhock, commonly called (Blacknight) is striking with deep maroon blooms.
