22 x 28 oil on panel, framed and ready to hang. “I was walking along the Santiam River last fall when I came across what I call a ‘lighting event’ – that is, one of those rare instances in nature when the light rays blow up the landscape in such a gorgeous way that it takes your breath away. Luckily I had my camera with me, although photos never do justice to these radiant scenes. Nonetheless, I tried to recapture the moment with this painting.”
