Dee McBrien-Lee’s September show, Body Language focuses heavily on abstracted figures and the way they interact with each other. Beginning with large areas of color, line and texture, she seeks to discover her subjects as she goes through her process. Often just a single body part or suggestion of attitude will be the beginning of a figure and the others follow sometimes intentionally, sometimes through discovery.
