Bronze Sculptures in Round-about

The city of Sherwood, Oregon commissioned Danae Bennett-Miller to create a tableau of cast bronze deer for a round-about at Oregon Street in their community. Danae imagined and then made a family of deer—buck, doe and two adorable fawns. She worked with N8 Excavation to place the life-sized sculptures along with basalt rocks, indicating terrain. This is the 3rd round-about that Danae has completed—a horse in the Newport and 9th round-about in Bend, and in Sisters, Oregon on highway 20, along with many other public art commissions.
