David Kinker recently finished a mural that brightens up this wall at Florida and Hill Street, the future home of a community based business, and some eateries like Fat Toneys Pizza. Through the summer and fall David has been busy with various mural projects and has volunteered to illustrate a “wall of dogs” mural in The Dalles, Oregon.
TAC member Helen Brown won an Award of Distinction at the Fall Convention of the Watercolor Society of Oregon. Her painting was one of 80 water media paintings in the Salem exhibit juried by Scotch artist Iain Stewart. Helen’s painting, Peace Prevails was on display at Tumalo Art Co. prior to this show. Other Bend area artists to receive awards were Winnie Givot from Sisters, and Elizabeth Haberman from Sunriver.
