"I very carefully waded toward the leaves of my intention. With each step I sank deeper into the soft debris layering the pond bottom. As I set my tripod, my sinking continued and fear began to enter. Finally coming to rest, my camera sat just a foot above the water. While fine tuning my composition, ice cold water finally rushed into my hip boots providing a shocking wake up call. However, once 'Sweeping the Sky' became a reality, memories of discomfort soon turned to elation."
