Description

36 x 36" mixed media on cradled birch panel with 1.75" deep sides. Painting wraps around edges and needs no frame. "Holding Shadows" is ready to hang.

This painting is inspired from a smaller, on-site plein air study I did of Eastlake near Paulina Lake, Oregon. At about 5:00 in the evening, the shadows became long, and sunlight slanted in, casting a warm glow over the lake.
