DECEMBER 2010 – SMALL TREASURES SHOW

It’s been snowing in Bend, Oregon. The twinkly lights look so festive. Tomorrow, December 3 from 5-9pm, is the First Friday Gallery Walk and our new show “Small Treasures”, featuring small works by all of our fabulous artists, is up on the walls. These art pieces are especially perfect for gifting….so as you make your list remember to consider original art by local artists! Our collection of jewelry art by Judy Clinton in precious metals and Amber Bremmer’s semi-precious and vintage found objects are truly unique. For the holidays we have also added fiber art by Jennifer Gold—table runners, scarves and even necklaces.

For the 6th year our gallery artists have created special one-of-a-kind ornaments. They are all displayed on our sparkly trees. From tiny gingerbread houses by Helen Brown to glass stars by Nancy Becker or hand-painted ones by Lindy Gruger Hanson, or ravens on glass balls by Janice Druian, there is a huge variety to choose from. We’re open ’til 8pm through the end of the year for your convenience.

During this season of lights we hope you’re taking time to relax and be joyful! As hardy Central Oregonians we know we’ll see many of you at the First Friday Art Opening and look forward to seeing you all month long.
