SUMMARY:May Group Exhibit—"Bloom" celebrates the many ways we unfold
DESCRIPTION:Above: Adell Shetterly’s original print Sky Guardians \n“This piece rests in the calm of a gentle\, watchful ease — a balance held without effort.\nA stillness that feels quietly aware\, a presence that steadies the air.\nCranes symbolize longevity\, peace\, fidelity\, wisdom\, transformation\, and spiritual connection\nacross many cultures and so seems a good fit for this group theme Bloom.” —Adell \n  \n  \n  \n  \n \n\nOur May Group Exhibit\, Bloom\, moves past the garden gate to celebrate the many ways we unfold.\nThe show opens May 1\, from 3-7pm during the Old Mill District First Friday Gallery Walk. \n\n\n\n\n\nDeep Forest Wake-Up\, David Kinker \nBeyond the petal and the vine\, “blooming” is a state of being. Both metaphorically and physically. \n  \n\nHuman in Bloom\, Katherine Taylor \n“Human In Bloom is my visual interpretation of a how a person can bloom from within.\nThe vibrational concentric energy circles can almost be seen at times when the phenomenon is strong.\nAnd what causes humans to bloom? Anything that makes a person fall more in love…\nwith another\, with themselves\, and/or with existence at large.\nHumans can be seen at these times to open like flower petals.”  —Katherine \n\n\n\n\n\nA Garden Runs Through It\, Shelli Walters \n  \n\n \nSpring Buds\, Danica Thomas \n  \n  \n\n• • • • • • • • • • • • \n\n  \n  \nCome enjoy this exhibit during our First Friday reception. Chat with the artists\, enjoy some special food\,\n\nand immerse yourself in the artwork throughout the gallery from 3-7pm\, May 1. \n  \nBe part of our vibrant First Friday Gallery Walk and take in all of the galleries and studios in the Old Mill District —\nLubbesmeyers Studio & Gallery\, Stacks Studios & Gallery (just upstairs)\,\n Tumalo Art Co.  as well as various stores hosting artists every month.
