A courageous\, quiet riot of becoming\nexactly who and what we were meant to be. From the Spring forest floor\,\nto the flowers left by little hands at your door on May Day. \n\n\n\n\nWallflowers in Bloom\, Dee McBrien-Lee \nWallflowers in Bloom is part of Dee McBrien-Lee’s ongoing series abstracting figures.\nThe title of this painting expresses the feeling of the overlooked woman coming into her own. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nFoxgloves\, Helen Brown \nThe works gathered in the show from our group of artists\, in all media\, and expressions of the theme\,\nand sizes from small to large\, capture those fleeting\, beautiful seconds of transition\,\nexploring the gentle
strength it takes to open up after a long winter. Both metaphorically and physically. \n  \n\nHuman in Bloom\, Katherine Taylor \n“Human In Bloom is my visual interpretation of a how a person can bloom from within.\nThe vibrational concentric energy circles can almost be seen at times when the phenomenon is strong.\nAnd what causes humans to bloom? DESCRIPTION:Whispering Wall \n\n\n  \n  \n  \n\n\nD A V I D  K I N K E R\n \n\n\n  \n\n\nPainter David Kinker‘s images of water are featured in his June exhibit\, \n\nRippling Echoes\, opening reception is June 5\, from 3-7pm\n\nduring the Old Mill District\, First Friday Gallery Walk. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nSteamrise on the River \nAn avid river rafter and guide\, David Kinker paints plein air wherever he goes\, \n\nand then creates the ‘memories reflected’\, in his studio.\nMany of the pieces in this exhibit are large format.\n\n\n\nCanyon of No Return \n\n\nHis intimate knowledge and experience on streams and rivers all over the world\nis the subject of the art in this exhibit…a rippling echo of the\n\nmajestic country he has had the privilege of floating through. \n\n\n\nAges of Perfection\n\nOnce again— this year on the Deschutes River—David’s 4-day\, camp-to-camp float in June is full.\nIf you are interested in a leisurely float\, with lots of time to paint in unique environments and\nwith excellent access\, contact him for information about upcoming trips.\n\n\n\n\nBowling Alley \nCome enjoy this exhibit during our First Friday reception. \n\nChat with the artists\, enjoy some special food\, and immerse yourself\n\nin the artwork throughout the gallery from 3-7pm\, June 5.  \nBe part of our vibrant First Friday Gallery Walk and take in all of the galleries \n\nand studios in the Old Mill District— Lubbesmeyers Studio & Gallery\,\nStacks Studios & Gallery(just upstairs)\, Tumalo Art Co. as well as\nvarious stores hosting artists every month.
