Annie Ferder

Annie Ferder—A colorful palette is a main theme for Annie Ferder’s newest paintings—warm gold’s, yellows, and reds are juxtaposed with cool purples, lavenders, burgundy’s and plum colors. Her still life’s pop with deep contrast in value. Also, experimenting with subject matter, this show includes, Japanese lanterns, opal apples in a metal container, and a very large watercolor of “Gaillardia” commonly known as Indian Blanket.

Nancy Becker

Nancy Becker—Along with more glass pears in all sizes using warm translucent colors, Nancy Becker responds to the theme with a new series—”Dance of the Flower Fairies”. These elegantly, lithe hand-blown glass forms require much expertise and each is named for a flower. Becker says she “loves the process of letting them come through me.” Nancy rounds out her show with huge glass platters of swirling color.
