Her aesthetic involves a vision of the beauty of things overlooked and things about to be lost. Her work is strongly influenced by a career in architecture and graphic design …and by her love for the high desert of Oregon.
Beth is interested in looking beyond the literal to where things meet or don’t meet…to the edges…and shape. To where things get out of their skins and become form, like the tenuous connection between sky and earth.
To create her jewelry she uses found materials, even casting in concrete, using metals and stones and making shapes that reflect the colors and texture of the desert.
